We are extremely pleased to announce that Switzer-CARTY Transportation has acquired Roxborough Bus Lines & 417 Bus Line as of June 30, 2023.
Roxborough Bus Lines has a long family history of over 60 years starting with one bus in 1959 and steadily growing in eastern Ontario and the Ottawa area to almost 900 employees and 850 buses.
Over the last 60 years, Roxborough focused on its employees and customers to gain a reputation as one of the best school bus operators in Ontario. Roxborough is embedded in the communities it serves and proud of the employees and their commitment to safe and reliable transportation for students over the years. Customers have relied on the caring and professional approach Roxborough has maintained since 1959.
We want to welcome the entire Roxborough Team to the Switzer-CARTY family. We are very excited to have Nick McRae, Roxborough President and grandson of founder Duncan McRae, join the senior team as Vice President of Operations at Switzer-CARTY. Jim Switzer, President & CEO of Switzer-CARTY commented,
