Yi is a Principal of Terramont Infrastructure Partners. She has 13 years of experience in infrastructure business building, operating, financing, and business development. Prior to joining Terramont, Yi built a digital services company to connect thousands of blue collar workers with on-demand job opportunities across California. Before this, within the electric mobility space at ChargePoint, she was responsible for market entry and partnership development activities for an overseas market. Within the distributed generation space, she led for SunPower the creation of a new virtual power plant business for utilities to control aggregated distributed energy assets.
Internationally, her work includes deploying distributed solar and energy storage solutions in East Africa to provide off-grid communities with access to energy services, as well as solar advisory work in Asia. Yi started her career with Morgan Stanley in New York, where she worked across project finance, debt and equity capital markets.
Yi holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, M.S. in Environment and Resources from Stanford University, B.S. in Management from MIT, and B.S in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
